  • Gaming in Germany Conference 2025 to pay attention to the upcoming possible changes in the country’s industry laws
  • The event will give early hints at what a final report due this year may look like and how it may impact the industry
  • Besides a closer scrutiny of regulation, the conference will address other important topics, such as RG, data compliance, game certification, esports, and more

Not unexpectedly, the upcoming Gaming in Germany Conference 2025 is due to take place on Tuesday, November 11, and will focus on the 2021 State Gambling Treaty at a time when federal states are paying closer attention to its rules and whether it is fit for purpose.

A report is due at the end of the year, with the Gaming in Germany Conference offering an early insight and possible indication of what to expect.

There have been industry calls to adjust the regulatory framework and address concerns such as the competitiveness of the licensed market, as well as the reach of the black market, which has pitted the national regulator, the GGL, against trade bodies and industry insiders.

However, the Gaming in Germany Conference has already indicated that some things may be changing before long, and for the better.

"This year's Gaming in Germany Conference is where important discussions will take place on which regulatory goals to pursue. Major stakeholders, including operators, trade associations, and the regulator, are all coming. I think this underscores the importance of our event. Moreover, it is the only conference aimed at the German market where both domestic and international stakeholders show up to connect and share insights and information. If you want to help shape the conversation and meet key stakeholders, Berlin is the place to be," said Gaming in Germany Founder Willem van Oort.

Besides addressing the pressing need for clearer regulation, the event will similarly seek to broach other equally impactful topics and discussions, including responsible gambling, live casino, esports, data compliance, game certifications, and many others.

Registration for the event is now open, and with a week to go, you may want to secure your spot today.
