The Gaming in Germany Conference is due to take place on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, with the event’s hosts now revealing the full agenda for the upcoming event.

Sponsored by a host of prominent iGaming companies, among which are Altenar, MindwayAI, Play’n GO, and Aircrash, the event is going to bring together the industry elite to discuss some of the most pressing issues of the iGaming market in Germany, including the ongoing debate over channelization, regulatory measures, and the black market.

Gaming in Germany readies for seminal event in November

The event will be split into several Blocks that will focus on addressing different aspects of the ongoing regulatory climate in Germany.

Mathias Dahms, President, Deutscher Sportwettenverband (DSWV), will headline "The state of Germany’s sports betting market," while Dr. Dirk Quermann, President, Deutscher Online Casinoverband, will discuss "The state of Germany’s virtual slots market."

"Germany’s iGaming market in numbers" will be another session of interest, headlined by H2 Gambling Capital COO Josh Hodgson. Christian Heins, Director iGaming, Tipico, will be joining for "Operators taking a stand against the black market."

The hosts are also offering simultaneous translation from German into English and vice versa, offering a global audience the opportunity to better understand the specific needs and unique challenges faced by the German market.

The Breakout Sessions and Innovation Panel are still missing a few details, with the hosts detailing that they will be joined by Magno Neiva, Head of Licensing & Regulatory Compliance, Altenar, as well as other speakers, who are yet to be announced.

In the meantime, Gaming in Germany Conference is also hosting a webinar that will take place in October. This webinar will take place on Tuesday, October 7, at 15:00 CET and will cover the following topics:

  • Current regulatory & market developments
  • The upcoming evaluation of the 2021 State Gambling Treaty
  • The challenge of the black market

Dr. Joerg Hofmann, Senior Partner at Melchers Law and Germany's leading gambling lawyer, will address the latest regulatory developments. Josh Hodgson, COO at H2 Gambling Capital, will provide insight into the latest market figures.
