SBC, the global media and events company that hosts some of the largest gambling events and industry gatherings, has inaugurated a new office in Malta, reflective of the company’s recent years of bumper growth and expansion. The new office is also part of the company’s ongoing tradition to host one of the largest events, CasinoBeats Summit, with the 2024 edition just around the corner.
First introduced in 2018, the CasinoBeats Summit event has been growing at a solid pace, with the new instalment arriving on May 21-23 at the InterContinental Hotel in Malta. Commenting on the new office space opened in the country, SBC Founder & CEO Rasmus Sojmark had this to say:
"Malta holds a special place as the hub of iGaming, which is why it is also the destination for the CasinoBeats Summit. Many of our clients and friends call Malta home, and it's important for us to further strengthen our ties with the community."
The new digs are opened at the SOHO The Strand, which is a premier co-working business hub in Malta, will now also host SBC’s team. Sojmark has welcomed the opportunity to see the company’s team members, who have been previously working remotely, to finally converge on a place that they can call a home.

The arrival of a Malta office has been welcomed by the likes of GamingMalta CEO Ivan Filetti who said that he was pleased to see SBC establish a more tangible and permanent presence in the country. In an official press statement, SBC also welcomed other teams from the SOHO ecosystem to come and visit: "SBC extends an invitation to companies already part of the SOHO community to visit and greet the Malta team at Office 19, located on Level 3 of the Strand."
