Rootz grows senior-level team with Maria Boelius

The company confirmed Thursday it hired the services of Maria Boelius, a leading expert with significant knowledge and experience within the gaming industry. Strengthening its C-suite, Rootz selected the expert for the role of Chief Revenue and Operations Officer.

Ultimately, pushed by Boelius' strategic guidance, the company anticipates further growth and expansion on a global scale. She brings a wide range of skills, knowledge and years of experience. Boelius is recognizable within the iGaming sector after she operated and owned her own affiliate and online casino company. Additionally, she has held many senior-level roles and has a track record in the industry.

The latest senior-level appointment complements the robust plan for global expansion set by Rootz. The company has ambitious goals for this year and its dedicated team of experts, led by its CEO, Sam Brown, is expected to play a key role in the process. Bringing a wide range of knowledge and a deep understanding of the industry, the team at Rootz will help materialize the company's big ideas.

Throughout her career, Boelius leveraged her extensive marketing and business skills acquired from education. While her professional tenure started within the banking vertical, she quickly entered the online gambling sector after she was appointed to the role of Country Coordinator at Redbet in Finland.

After that, Boelius founded MH Media, a company that focused on lead generation and SEO. Her next professional endeavor was Mozebra Ltd, an online casino company. Boelius was one of the co-founders of the aforementioned company where she also served as CEO. Back in 2020, Spiffbet acquired Mozebra Ltd, while Boelius transitioned to the role of Chief Operating Officer.
