PrizePicks, a provider of fantasy sports solutions for US crowds, is now expanding and pushing further, getting involved with the equally exciting and lucrative vertical of competitive video gaming.

Fantasy esports in focus at PrizePicks

This is possible through a new partnership with Bayes Esports, which will help PrizePicks find its bearings in the exciting segment that is electronic sports. To help bolster PrizePicks’ offer, Bayes Esports will feed the company official esports data processed by the latter.

Bayes Esports is one of the most formidable data providers for the esports industry, having teamed up with some of the largest events and competitions in the ecosystem, among which are BLAST Premier, ESL FACEIT Group, and so many others.

Bayes has tapped into vast data offerings that have allowed it to quickly position itself as one of the leading companies when it comes to esports solutions, similar to what Oddin.gg, a competitor, has been doing.

Because of the quality and high profile of the esports data collated by Bayes Esports, the company has struck partnerships with GG.Bet, a bookmaker, and DATA.Bet, a betting data provider, all tapping into the company’s expertise.

Now, PrizePicks will follow suit, utilizing the quality solutions by Bayes Esports, and elevating the esports experience for video game enthusiasts who are keen to find out more about fantasy gaming. PrizePicks will get live match data, historic data, and various widgets for media channels, boosting the company’s overall opportunity to engage.

Bayes Esports Co-CEO & Managing Director Amir Mirzaee has welcomed the opportunity to collaborate with PrizePicks on this project and create fresh opportunities for the company that is looking to explore the segment.

PrizePicks has a solid track record in community building

Fantasy esports is a brand-new area on which PrizePicks wants to focus, too, and it has a solid track record of building communities. The company has more than 5 million members and there are 500,000 people at PrizePicks’ discord, too.

Mirzaee has welcomed this opportunity as it also allows it to expand Bayes Esports’ presence in the North American market. As to PrizePicks Director of Esports Adam Boothe, there has been no doubt that this partnership is meant to be.

"In order to provide our members with the best esports products in North America, we needed to partner with the highest quality esports data providers," Boothe noted. He said that Dota 2 and Counter-Strike are the biggest markets for the company right now, and the extra help from Bayes Esports is only going to help consolidate that.
