Delaware North, a global hospitality casino and entertainment company which focuses on brick-and-mortar casinos and also runs an interactive gaming division, has handpicked Playtech to power the company’s newest mobile sportsbook and casino, Betly.
The partnership will see Playtech deploy its gaming platform along with content services, giving Betly an immediate boost as it seeks to secure forward positions in the sprawling North American market. The company has already obtained a license in Ohio, the United States, and has rolled out with Betly Ohio.
The company has managed this feat by replacing MVGBet and entering a partnership with Miami Valley Gaming. Betly will also migrate its platform to Playtech’s option in several states, including Arkansas, Tennessee, and West Virginia, which will also undergo a platform upgrade in the coming months, the official press release specified.
The news was welcomed by both Playtech and Delaware North. Delaware North Chief Interactive Gaming Officer Lee Terfloth had this to add commenting on the opportunity to work with Playtech:
"We are very pleased to partner with Playtech to provide Betly customers with an enhanced mobile sports betting and online casino experience powered by an industry leader."
The partnership will also allow Betly to expand its promotional features and offer players new ways to engage with the existing product while delivering a much greater value overall. He added:
"Not only that, but our team can now offer players robust promotional features through the Playtech platform, which will allow Betly to offer customers an array of enticing and personalized offerings, including bonus bets, boosts, drawings and tournaments. As a result, customers will experience tailored content to engage them based on their historical betting activity."
Playtech has been expanding rapidly over the past several months. The company announced that it is teaming up with BETER to help boost its own platform reach in the world of esports and offer an innovative game vertical that is gaining momentum.
Playtech also recently announced a bespoke solution, the MGM Live concept which it is developing with MGM Resorts International.
