The largest skill-based daily fantasy sports (DFS) operator and one of the fastest-growing sports companies in North America, PrizePicks, announced it expanded its offering with the addition of a new product. Last week, the company revealed it introduced a new free-to-play game, boosting its offering and delivering its players new and engaging experiences.
The new free-to-play game represents a version of PrizePicks' most popular daily fantasy sports game. While initially, it will be introduced to players in Michigan, the company confirmed that it plans to roll out its new free-to-play game to new markets throughout the United States.
Players of the new free-to-play game can expect thrilling and engaging experiences. The game grants them 1,000 PrizePoints each day that can be used for picks for different sporting events from the schedule for the particular day. The aforementioned PrizePoints will effectively be used as a virtual currency while entry selection resembles the standard PrizePicks gameplay.
Participants of the new free-to-play game will compete for prizes. The game's top 100 scorers for the state will have a chance to secure a share of the day's prize, a statement released by PrizePicks reveals.
Brian Huss, the company's VP of Innovation, was excited about the newly released free-to-play game. "We're thrilled to launch our newest offering on PrizePicks, a fun free-to-play game," he explained. Finally, Huss pointed out: "This new free-to-play format is the first of new game types to come and opens the door for us to reach sports fans who may not already be familiar with PrizePicks."
Earlier this year, PrizePicks confirmed it grew its presence in the US after expanding its DFS platform to Indiana. Announced back in July, the company confirmed it secured a temporary license in the state, allowing it to operate its DFS business. This achievement represented an important milestone for PrizePicks, considering Indiana's passionate basketball fanbase.
According to the 2023 Inc. 5000 rankings, PrizePicks is the fastest-growing sports company in North America. While the leading DFS operator continues to expand its presence, it remains committed to responsible gambling. PrizePicks was recognized for its supreme services by securing the Fantasy Sports & Gaming Association's Fantasy Sports Business of the Year award, along with other important recognitions.
