Powderkeg Studios, a brand-new iGaming development company established under the Supremeland Gaming Studio umbrella, has launched its first video slot game, Munition Mine, which is already featured at SlotMatrix, a powerful aggregator of gaming content which handpicks the titles it includes in its library.
This gives Munition Mine a very strong start in the industry, and the opportunity to appeal to hundreds of thousands of players. Players will be invited to probe the earthly bowels as they descend further into the mine, riding a mine cart, and claiming various treasures. The game is based on a competition between goblins and dwarves which are striving to accumulate the most wealth, too.
Players get to win across 576 dedicated ways. The game features unique-designed symbols that contribute to its thematic pull and the immersiveness of the experience, and also add to the overall gameplay. For example, the Powderkeg symbols drop-in mid-play to explode and offer the potential to win more rewarding combinations.
The title is led by game designer Peter Wasielewski who has extensive experience developing products for clients such as Microsoft and Disney, and has cut his teeth on crafting unique blockbuster mobile and casual games.
Wasielewski has also developed products for PC and consoles, and he is now taking his hefty experience into the slot medium which he loves as something that allows him to further expand his creativity and build compelling and paradigm-shifting products.
"It's all about the potential of the gaming market and what kind of unique experiences we can craft that are both fun and exciting. Munition Mine is all about potential, especially in its namesake feature. Every symbol during the hold and spin has the chance to yield up to 500x for the player, making each foray uniquely thrilling and always evolving," Wasielewski said.
Supremeland Gaming is similarly stoked with the opportunity to see one of its most innovative, albeit fresh, studios step into the iGaming vertical on such firm ground. Rickard Öhrn, CEO at Supremeland Gaming, has hailed the arrival of Powderkeg Studios and praised the subsidiary for its "mischievous" and "fun-to-play" games that are yet to come.
A big focus of the company will lie in the United States and the iGaming space there, but more information will become available in 2024.
