Oddin.gg has received an important distinction and opportunity to bring its advanced esports betting product to a new market in Colorado, the United States. The company has obtained an official license from the regulatory authority in the state, the Colorado Division of Gaming, and has been recognized as a viable B2B supplier of esports odds and feeds, Casino Guru News learned in an email press release.
This is an important step forward for the company which previously secured licenses in New Jersey and Ontario, Canada. This new license will effectively help elevate Oddin.gg’s own standing in the North American esports betting market, but also secure the means that operators can use to strengthen the vertical itself and bring more worthwhile markets and options to players.
Vlastimil Venclik, CEO and Co-founder at Oddin.gg, spoke excitedly about this partnership and said that the company was definitely thrilled to be expanding in yet another market in the United States. Both Colorado and North America are a significant part of the company’s strategy in the future.
"We have been actively working on the acquisition of further US licenses to support both existing clients and prospects in the future," Venclik added. The executive is very confident about the future of the North American esports market, arguing that there are avenues to expand in and enhance engagement and improve the esports viewing experience as well.
All in all, esports betting is a booming market that is going to be more seriously featured by mainstream sportsbooks in the United States, especially now that legalization is moving quickly. As Oddin.gg Co-founder and Managing Director, Partnerships Marek Suchar said in a recent interview with Casino Guru News, the initial fight for esports relevancy is over.
Oddin.gg works actively to elevate the status and stature of esports as a viable vertical, as more sportsbooks are responding positively to the upsurge from customers who are looking o play. Oddin.gg has been working to strengthen the esports vertical well beyond North America as well.
The company launched its esports solutions with Olimpbet in Kazakhstan earlier this year and it also worked with MerkurXTIP. Oddin.gg similarly established a partnership focused on esports products with Lion Gaming, once again sending a clear sign that the interest in the vertical remains sustained.
