The developer of technology and systems, catering to lottery operators across the globe, Jumbo Interactive Limited, announced a change in its senior-level team. The company has announced that it appointed Jatin Khosla, a senior executive with extensive experience in the financial vertical, to the role of interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The appointment comes at a time when Jumbo Interactive saw its current CFO, David Todd, resign from his role unexpectedly. A statement released by the company explained that Todd had to leave Jumbo Interactive due to "unforeseen personal health reasons."
To ensure a seamless transition of the role, the outgoing CFO, Todd, agreed to serve as an advisor. The company hasn't confirmed whether the search for a permanent replacement has already started. In his new role, Khosla will oversee strategic processes. His appointment also comes amid an ongoing review of Jumbo Interactive's support services and financial teams.
Susan Forrester, the Chair of the company's Board, commented on the topic saying: "We would like to thank David for his dedication and service over the last 16 years and the invaluable contribution he has made to Jumbo." Finally, she wished the outgoing CFO well for the future on behalf of the company's Board.
Currently, Jumbo Interactive is renowned as a digital lottery specialist. The company offers innovative software and platforms, powering the operations of government lotteries in Australia, as well as around the globe.
Founded in 1995, Jumbo Interactive has been growing at a constant pace. The company currently has more than 250 employees in strategic markets, including Canada, Australasia and the UK, among others.
Mike Veverka, Jumbo Interactive's CEO and Founder, was similarly thrilled about Khosla's recent appointment. "I congratulate Jatin on his appointment, welcome him to the KMP team and look forward to working together to build on Jumbo’s success." The Founder and CEO explained that Khosla has solid experience and understanding of the company's operations. "With David’s resignation he has big shoes to fill, however I am confident he can bring his own brand of skill and energy to the role," said Veverka in conclusion.
Initially, Khosla joined Jumbo Interactive as Head of Investor Relations back in 2021. He is a seasoned executive with more than 15 years of experience within different verticals, including the financial sector. Throughout his professional career, Khosla held senior-level roles in the UK and Australia.
