The leading supplier of licensed hosting for the global online gambling and sports betting sectors, Internet Vikings, announced a new collaboration, strengthening its cybersecurity. Details regarding the new partnership emerged Wednesday and see the company use the security, performance and reliability company that helps build a better Internet, Cloudflare. Thanks to the new collaboration Internet Vikings significantly ramps up its cybersecurity, strengthening its position within the online gambling sector.

Per the terms of the new deal, Cloudflare will help protect the company from cyberattacks. Cloudflare currently offers the most enhanced protection against DDoS attacks. Moreover, Internet Vikings will also benefit from Cloudflare Magic Transit protections.

Andy Lockhart, Cloudflare's Vice President EMEA, was thrilled about the new collaboration. In a statement, he pointed out: "Protecting the sports betting and iGaming industry requires businesses like Internet Vikings to have a robust cybersecurity and performance solution." Finally, Lockhart explained: "There are an increasing number of attacks across the industry, with Cloudflare blocking on average 124 billion cyber threats each day globally."

Currently, cybersecurity remains a top priority for Internet Vikings. The latest collaboration with Cloudflare complements the company's commitment to ensuring the protection of its clients amid the growing number of cyber threats. Leveraging Cloudflare's Magic Transit, Internet Vikings can now better protect its clients and anticipate possible DDoS attacks against its customers more efficiently.

Internet Vikings' CEO, Rickard Vikström, commented: "We are always in search of new opportunities to deliver more comprehensive services to our clients." He explained that improving the company's systems with Cloudflare is a major step toward strengthening cybersecurity within the gambling sector. Finally, Vikström pointed out: "It will not only allow businesses to avoid financial and reputational damage, but guarantee the players a better and uninterrupted gaming experience."

Founded in 2008, Internet Vikings is a leading licensed in-state cloud hosting provider, powering the iGaming and sports betting sectors. Headquartered in Stockholm, the company has a growing team of 50 experts in five countries across the globe.
