Resorts WorldBET is Resorts World New York's new mobile sports betting app that was launched earlier this month. Earlier this week, Resorts WorldBET inked a new content and data partnership with Genius Sports, the leading technology and broadcast company that powers a global ecosystem of sports and media.
Under the terms of the new deal, Genius will power Resorts WorldBET by offering its LiveTrading and LiveData solutions that are fueled by high-quality official data. The company explained that under the deal, it will supply its exclusive NFL official sports data-powered product, as well as Next Gen Stats (NGS) and real-time statistics for the league.
The collaboration will see Resorts WorldBET get access to Genius' suite of official data and in-race betting markets for NASCAR and its official sports betting data feed. Moreover, Resorts WorldBET will gain access to real-data feeds for the English Premier League, FIVB volleyball and FIBA basketball leagues, ensuring 24/7 offering to its customers.
Besides Genius Sports, the brick-and-mortar casinos Resorts World New York City and Resorts World Catskills are also going to help power the new mobile sportsbook.
Genius Sports' CEO, Mark Locke, commented on the topic in a statement released Wednesday. He outlined that the online sports betting market in New York holds incredible potential and has a rich sporting history.
Additionally, Locke acknowledged that there are more than 20-million residents in the state. In conclusion, he predicted that Resorts WorldBET will become a key player in New York and Genius "will be central to their offering, providing premium exclusive content on top tier competitions including NASCAR, EPL and NFL."
Currently, Genius Sports operates in more than 150 countries globally. The company's partner portfolio continues to grow and by now it has surpassed 400 sports organizations. What is more, Genius is a trusted partner for some of the largest sports leagues and federations such as the PGA, AFA, NFL and NASCAR, to name a few.
Genting Americas East is the company that operates Resorts WorldBET. In a recent press release, the company's chief marketing officer, Darlene Monzo, acknowledged that the new deal with Genius Sports marks an exciting moment.
She outlined that thanks to the recent deal, Resorts WorldBET customers will be able to enjoy real-time data combined with cutting-edge technology. "Mobile sports betting in New York is primed to lead the nation and our world-class platform offers exactly what customers are looking for: an innovative mix of speed, reliability and access to the most advanced data available," said Monzo in conclusion.
Launched early in January, mobile sports betting in New York broke all records. After its first month of operation, the state's mobile sportsbooks have seen nearly $2 billion in sports betting handle. On the other hand, the operator's revenue for the first month of operation hit $138 million, raising nearly $71 million in taxes for the state.
