Games Global will be introducing a new branded slot based on the image and likeness of boxing legend Floyd Mayweather.
The innovative developer of online casino content has already signed a deal with Mayweather and will be delivering the game by the end of 2024, Casino Guru News learned in an email press release.
The title is aiming to have a quick global rollout this year, which will allow fans of the Mayweather IP to benefit right away.
In the meantime, traditional casino players who may not be necessarily aware of Mayweather’s legacy and achievements in the boxing world, would be treated to a highly dynamic and rewarding game that combines innovative features and mechanics in a deeply evocative and immersive way.
Games Global has been working to actively strengthen the presence of popular intellectual properties and franchises in the world of online gaming. Earlier this year, Games Global signed a partnership with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) to bring branded online slot games.
The partnership with Mayweather further expands on this collaboration yet again. Games Global Chief Product Officer Andy Booth welcomed the opportunity to see his company embark on what he described as a "knock-out" collaboration that is bound to appeal to fans and raise the stakes, resonating with audiences of all backgrounds.
"We are certain the title will be a high-performing addition to our games portfolio, appealing to boxing fans around the globe," Booth added.
Mayweather Fitness Holdings CEO James Williams was similarly pleased to see the Mayweather brand start working with a well-established and trusted company from the online casino sector.
"We’re looking forward to working closely with Games Global to develop a title that offers the excitement of the boxing ring and allows players to be a world champion fighters in the iGaming arena," he concluded.
This is not the only big name that Games Global has been collaborating with. The developer also partnered with the Ultimate Fighting Championship in May this year, arranging a similar deal whereby it will be developing exclusive slot games.
