The leading online gaming and sports betting brand that is also a part of one of Europe's largest entertainment and gambling operators, Olympic Entertainment Group, OlyBet, announced Thursday a new collaboration for one of the most-anticipated racing events for the Baltic region this year. The new collaboration sees OlyBet become the title sponsor of the 2023 Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) Speedway GP of Latvia – Riga. The agreement comes after the popular betting and gaming brand reached an agreement with FIM Speedway GP.
The new activation coincides with the return of the famous action series to Latvia. The series returns to the country for the first time in six years while at the same time marking the 100th anniversary season for the popular sport. Thanks to the new collaboration, OlyBet will benefit from brand exposure and engage with new audiences, allowing it to expand its reach.
Corey Plummer, the Chairman and CEO of OlyBet and Olympic Entertainment Group, shared his excitement about the latest activation in a statement. "We are thrilled to partner with FIM Speedway GP to support the return of FIM Speedway to Latvia," he said.
Additionally, Plummer pointed out: "The top championship riders and top under-21s will showcase this exciting and unique racing live in Riga, on local channels and on Eurosport’s network." He added that during the event days, Olympic Entertainment's Voodoo casino, as well as OlyBet Sports Bars and OlyBet TV will introduce special promotions and race events, elevating the experience for fans of the sport even further. "I continue to be excited about the opportunities that OlyBet brings to sports fans in Latvia and everywhere OlyBet operates," explained Plummer in conclusion.
Laura Manciet, FIM Speedway's championships Director, shared the excitement of OlyBet's boss. She explained that FIM Speedway is delighted to forge this new collaboration with OlyBet for its Riga event. "The OlyBet FIM Speedway GP of Riga – Latvia is the biggest speedway event staged in the Baltic region for over six years, featuring the world’s top riders battling for World Championship points as the series approaches its climax," explained Manciet.
Finally, FIM Speedway's championships Director said: "This will be a special weekend of racing, also featuring FIM Speedway of Nations – SON2 for the sport’s top under-21 teams, and we look forward to welcoming OlyBet for two nights of epic racing in Riga next month."
The latest activation grows OlyBet's portfolio of partners. Previously, the famous betting and gaming brand has joined forces with the DP World Tour, as well as LaLiga. Additionally, the globally-recognized soccer legend, Luka Modrić is one of OlyBet's ambassadors.
