BiG Africa Summit

The 11th Annual BiG Africa Summit, which is due to take place on February 17-20, is now a month away, Eventus International reminded in a press statement.

The iconic event held out of The Grand Palm Hotel Casino Convention Resort in Gaborone, Botswana, will reunite industry leaders and innovators, offering them an exclusive opportunity to unlock the potential of the African iGaming market.

Botswana itself has emerged as one of the most strategically viable countries in the region, allowing industry leaders to strategize and leverage new technologies on scale both in the domestic and regional market, with neighbors such as South Africa, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe representing some of the biggest opportunities for the sector regionally.

BiG Africa Summit is similarly backed by the Botswana Gambling Authority demonstrating its determination to serve as a lode star for the region in helping set up and execute strategies as well as address core challenges that have presented themselves to stakeholders over the past months.

The event will also feature the annual BiG Africa Summit Eventus Awards designed to celebrate excellence in the sector and distinguish participants across five key categories, to wit:

  • Ubuntu Leadership Award | For Leadership Skills & Upliftment
  • Baobab Sustainability Award | For Sustainability & Responsible Gaming Practices
  • Shining Savannah Innovator Award | For Most Groundbreaking Innovation
  • Zambezi Rising Star Award | For the Most Potential and Commitment to Excellence
  • Mufasa Speaker Excellence Award | Awarded for the Best Speaker at the Conference
