On Thursday, the company confirmed that it strengthened its C-suite with the addition of Craig Felenstein for the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Joining Sportradar, he brings extensive experience, solid knowledge and deep understanding within multiple industries, including the entertainment, digital content and media sectors.
Overall, Felenstein has more than 30 years of operational and senior finance experience, making him a valuable addition to the senior-level team at Sportradar. Serving as CFO, he will oversee the company's global financial operations, including investor relations and accounting.
In his new senior-level role, Felenstein will be based in New York and will report directly to Sportradar's Chief Executive Officer, Carsten Koerl.
Undoubtedly, the extensive experience, unique blend of knowledge, operational insight and leadership qualities make Felenstein the perfect fit for the new role. Besides overseeing strategic financial processes, he is expected to effectively collaborate with Sportradar's C-suite, ensuring the sustainable growth and expansion of the company. As CFO, Felenstein will also play a key role in different strategic initiatives that ultimately target the expansion of the company's business relationships and growth on a global scale.

His professional background includes important C-suite roles with Discovery Communications, among other leading media and entertainment companies.
