ComeOnGroup has announced and revealed a new ambitious program that will focus on supporting projects that are focused on mental well-being. The new program is all part of the Group’s larger CSR and People strategy, and it reflects a deeper commitment to pressing issues for consumers and employees. To this end, the Group will work with a number of NGOs, including the Richmond Foundation which operates out of Malta.
In this case, the focus will be on employees, a focus that is encapsulated in the company’s Employee Assistance Program which has begun rolling out already with the help of the Foundation. The initiative is dubbed "Healthy MindsWork" with which ComeOn wants to create working experiences that help employees cope with a range of mental issues that may have been overlooked.
The effort on mental well-being is incorporated into the broader Employee Wellbeing Program. ComeOn does want to take the experience beyond its own corporate confines, and it has confirmed that it will collaborate with other partners to ensure that local communities also receive mental health options. Part of this bigger-than-self commitment is also visible in the launch of the Mental Health First Aid courses that will be available to the general public for free.
ComeOn Group definitely has an impressive workforce. The Group presently employs more than 550 employees, and it wants to make sure that they are all safe and feeling okay. To this end, the Group has been working actively to improve its overall CSR strategy, which was launched earlier in 2022.ComeOn said that the latest campaign and initiative are very much what the Group is about.
Giving back and helping local communities is something that the Group has always strived to do with every decision it has made. ComeOn Group has always been focused on employee well-being, as its recent actions have showcased.
In November last year, the company implemented a hybrid working model to ensure that people have a mix of office presence and home office experience, hoping to mitigate the chances of reinfections, but also start bringing its teammates back together to boost morale and satisfaction.
ComeOn also granted employees an eight-week work-from-anywhere package combined with the annual leave, making for an excellent opportunity to balance between corporate obligations and the opportunity to stay flexible, healthy, and focused on employee wellbeing. As to consumers, ComeOn Group joined IBIA back in April this year and lauded the occasion as another opportunity to ensure that participants in gaming contests are safe and protected.
