Better Collective, a developer of educational platforms within the iGaming sector, announced it is ready to expand its presence to another US state. The company said last week that its award-winning sports media brands are ready to launch in Massachusetts.

The recent announcement comes ahead of the planned mobile betting launch in the state set for March 10. Previously, the state introduced retail sports betting which launched on January 31, 2023, and now, Massachusetts is making further efforts into delivering engaging and convenient experiences for bettors via mobile sports betting.

According to Better Collective, the state's population of seven million makes Massachusetts one of the most lucrative and strong sports betting markets in the US. Moreover, the company acknowledged the potential of the state to become a leading US sports betting hub.

"Better Collective is excited to enter Massachusetts and acknowledges the mutual commitment it shares with the Massachusetts Gaming Committee (MGC) to safer gaming, player education and consumer protection," explained the company in a statement. Additionally, the company commended the regulator for understanding the importance of marketing media within the regulated sports betting vertical.

Marc Pedersen, the CEO of Better Collective US, shared his excitement saying: "We are pleased to learn about the decision of the MGC to provisionally allow CPA and revenue share in Massachusetts." He pointed out that the company will be excited to deliver strategic guidance and education for the growing sports fan base in the state as they encounter their first online sports wagers. Finally, Pedersen said: "The state has a very successful sports history, and we are confident the future with sports betting will be equally as successful."

There are thousands of Massachusetts visitors monthly to the company's sports outlets including www.VegasInsider.com and www.ActionNetwork.com already. However, Better Collective acknowledged that previously, sports wagering information wasn't available which has changed now.

Currently, there are ten sportsbooks that are approved by the regulator to start accepting wagers once the market launches. This healthy competition, according to Better Collective is expected to propel the market in the state to a leadership position in the US. At the same time, the company acknowledged that Massachusetts has a significant sports fan base considering its local teams such as the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins and the New England Patriots.

Recently, Better Collective expanded its European facing reach via a media deal with Wirtualna Polska. Announced early in February, the deal saw the company team up with the famous Polish news portal that has millions of monthly visitors.
