BetMGM and MGM Resorts unveil omnichannel slot called MGM Riches

The leading sports betting and online gaming operator, BetMGM, along with the global gaming and entertainment company, MGM Resorts International, announced the launch of the first custom omnichannel slot experience in the US called MGM Riches. The unique experience bridges the gap between land-based and online gambling and was developed in collaboration with Everi Holdings.

MGM Riches is described as a multi-level, multi-denomination progressive slot game. It currently has two different themes, namely MGM Riches 5x Sapphire and MGM Riches Triple Ruby. What makes the new slot unique is that the gameplay for the customers is consistent regardless if they play online or in person.

Besides online via BetMGM's iCasino platform in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Michigan, the new slot game is available at MGM Resorts' land-based locations around the country. Overall, MGM Riches can be accessed at 15 brick-and-mortar casinos by MGM Resorts. It is expected to arrive soon for customers in West Virginia as well.

David Lucchese, Everi's Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Digital, commented on the topic in a statement saying: "The development of MGM Riches is another example of MGM Resorts' and BetMGM's focus on patron engagement, their commitment to being top-tier operators in land-based and online, and Everi's ability to deliver exciting, omnichannel gaming entertainment experiences to both land-based and online players."

He explained that BetMGM and Everi delivered engaging content for online customers in North America. Finally, Lucchese said that the new game complements the growing portfolio of content from Everi, which now surpasses 70 games.

Angus Nisbet, BetMGM's Vice President of Gaming, was also excited about the launch of the new omnichannel slot game. He said that MGM Riches helps connect MGM Resorts' iconic properties with the growing iGaming vertical. In conclusion, Nisbet said: "We are thrilled to offer this first-of-its-kind slot and to continue to bring innovative content to our players."

MGM Resorts International's Senior Vice President of Slot Strategy, Mike Gatten, added that the new game delivers engaging entertainment on a new level for slot fans. "With guest experience at the core of what we do, we created this custom game for our loyal slot customers who enjoy playing their favorite games and earning rewards even when they're not at one of our properties," said Gatten in conclusion.

Another unique trait of MGM Riches is that it supports the two companies' rewards programs. Customers online and at land-based venues that play the game can earn Trier Credits from each spin via MGM Rewards and BetMGM Rewards. The credits can then be exchanged for member-only experiences or other rewards, delivering a new level of entertainment.
