Following the launch of the Tequity Originals ‘Crypto Trading Games’ range and the debut title Trader, Casino Guru sat down with Dominic Sawyer, VP of Growth at Tequity, to discuss how this new series is helping operators tap into the high-energy world of crypto markets through a fully brandable, data-driven experience.

Q: Tequity has just unveiled its new Crypto Trading Games range, starting with the flagship title Trader. What was the core inspiration behind merging live crypto data with iGaming?

The modern player demographic is changing rapidly. We’ve seen a massive crossover between casual gaming and the fast-paced world of crypto trading. Modern players today often want more than content built on a random number generator. Often, they want a sense of agency, real-time stakes, and a connection to the real world.

The catalyst for the Crypto Trading Games range was the realisation that operators were missing a dedicated bridge to crypto-curious and pro-trader audiences. By using live price calls and modern trading mechanics, we created a product that feels less like a traditional casino game and more like a high-stakes, interactive financial experience.

Q: You have emphasised that the product offers full brand control for operators. In a crowded marketplace, why is customisation such a vital part of the value proposition?

In the B2B space, one-size-fits-all is becoming a relic of the past. Operators work incredibly hard to build a distinct brand identity and community, and our modular approach allows them to take Trader and, with minimal effort, make it feel like a true in-house build.

Operators can tailor every core element, logos, typography, colour palettes, and audio to match their brand. This isn't just about aesthetics, but retention. When a game feels like a seamless extension of the operator’s platform rather than a third-party plug-in, it builds deeper trust and loyalty with the player. Ultimately, that benefits the bottom line.

Q: From a player’s perspective, Trader offers features like 1,000x leverage and multiple active bets. How do these mechanics translate into value for the operator?

The value lies in the sticky nature of the gameplay. By offering features like configurable tick speeds and the ability to manage up to 10 active bets simultaneously, we are driving high-frequency interaction.

For the operator, this translates to strong session times and repeat play. The 1,000x leverage and cash-out controls give players the volatility and excitement they crave, but

because the exposure is fully configurable, operators can manage their risk while offering a high-ceiling product that stands out in a saturated market. It’s a powerful tool for attracting high-value users who are comfortable with the mechanics of the crypto market.

Q: Tequity mentioned that this series is built to be showcased across social and streaming channels. How does the product design support an operator’s marketing efforts?

We live in a streamer-driven industry. Trader was designed from the ground up to be visually engaging and easy to follow on a live stream. The real-time multiplier updates and the up-or-down tension create natural clipping moments that will perform very strongly on social media channels.

By providing a product that is inherently shareable, we help operators lower their acquisition costs. When a player or streamer shares a big win or a tense trade, they are showcasing a dynamic event. It’s a very modern way to drive organic growth.

Q: This launch marks an expansion of the Originals portfolio. How does the Crypto Trading Games series fit into Tequity’s broader roadmap for 2026?

Our mission is to be the ultimate technology partner by delivering scalable, customisable solutions that dismantle technical barriers. The Crypto Trading Games range is a perfect example of this. We are providing a sophisticated, data-driven product that operators can deploy without the heavy technical overhead of building their own live-data infrastructure.

It fits alongside our Publishing vertical and our Bankroll-as-a-Service offerings as part of a holistic ecosystem designed to give our partners a competitive edge through innovation and speed-to-market.

Q: Finally, following the interest the product received at ICE Barcelona, what is your main message to operators looking to integrate the series now?

The feedback from Barcelona confirmed what we suspected: the industry is hungry for crossover gaming products. We were able to show partners exactly how easy it is to brand the product and how responsive and exciting those live crypto price calls are in a real-world environment.

Our message to operators now is simple. Increase the appeal of your overall offering by integrating an experience that resonates with the modern, tech-savvy player. The barriers to entry have now gone, and it's time to help you own that crypto-savvy audience and stay ahead of the curve.
