  • The jackpot from Powerball survived on Saturday
  • A total of six people matched all but one winning number to take home $1m prizes each from the latest drawing
  • The top prize continues to grow, and it is now the largest for 2026 at estimated $633m for the upcoming drawing

Saturday marked the latest drawing of the popular lottery game, played across the United States, Powerball.

While several fortunate souls won a tier-two prize from the latest drawing, nobody took down the game’s jackpot, which continued to grow.

Six lucky players scored $1m each

On Saturday, July 25, 2026, winning numbers 3, 4, 24, 36, 47 as well as Powerball number 17 were drawn.

While nobody hit the jackpot for a $613m payday, six players won $1m prizes each after matching all winning numbers with the exception of the Powerball number.

As a result, $1m prizes went to Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington.

On the other hand, 25 people won tier-three prizes of $50,000 each, while seven collected a tier-three Power Play prize of $200,000 each.

Within the lower prize tiers, thousands of prizes between $400 and $4 were won.

Powerball jackpot is the largest for 2026 so far

The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Monday, July 27, 2026.

The estimated jackpot on that drawing is $633m or a $277.3m cash option.

So far, this is the largest Powerball jackpot prize for 2026.

The jackpot survived after rolling all summer and the last time it was won was on May 2, 2026.

At the time, two tickets, one sold in Texas and one in Florida, took down the $20m jackpot.

If a fortunate soul beats the 1 in 292.2m odds of winning the Powerball jackpot on its next drawing, they can choose to receive the full $633m sum via annuity payments that include an initial payout followed by graduated payments over 29 years.

On the other hand, the winner can also collect a one-time lump sum which would be approximately $277.3m.

Both sums are before the applicable state and federal taxes.

Each Powerball ticket costs $2 per play and the odds of winning any prize are 1 in 24.9.

The game is played 45 U.S. states, as well as Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the United Kingdom.
