Ahead of the United States’ 250th anniversary, the North Carolina Education Lottery announced the launch of a new celebratory raffle.
Titled the "Celebrate America Raffle," the raffle features a range of prizes and has officially launched on May 26, 2026.
The raffle will run through July 30, 2026, or until all of 25,000 tickets have been sold.
With the new raffle, the North Carolina Education Lottery wants to deliver a fun and easy experience to players across the state.
Players who want to join the Celebrate America Raffle can purchase a $10 ticket and enter.
Notably, the Lottery reminded players that raffle ticket purchases must be made via its official website or mobile app.
Overall, the raffle will draw 2,270 winners. "That’s a whole lot of winning," a statement released by the North Carolina Education Lottery explains.
The Celebrate America Raffle will feature a range of prizes between $25 and $2,500.
The first 20 tickets drawn will grant players a top prize of $2,500 each.
On the other hand, the following 250 tickets drawn will award a $250 prize each.
Last but not least, the remaining 2,000 tickets will award a prize of $25 per winner.
According to the North Carolina Education Lottery, the overall odds of winning a prize will depend on the number of tickets sold.
In case the Lottery sells all 25,000 tickets for the celebratory raffle, the odds of winning a prize would be 1 in 11.
The raffle complements the Lottery’s vast offering, which includes a range of digital instant games, draw games, fast-play games and scratch-off tickets.
