Fortunate Michigan man wins second lottery prize, taking $1m from Millionaire Raffle

Lightning struck twice for an incredibly fortunate player, who won a six-figure lottery prize just above a year ago and only recently scored a life-changing win.

That’s the case for a Muskegon County, Michigan man, who won $1m from the Michigan Lottery’s Millionaire Raffle.

Winner took down the game’s top prize

The winner, a 47-year-old man, chose to remain anonymous. He tried his luck for the Michigan Lottery’s Millionaire Raffle by purchasing tickets online.

Interestingly, he emerged as the $1m top prize winner from the Millionaire Raffle game, which ended.

The game offered 100,000 tickets available for purchase, and once those were sold, the Lottery held a drawing.

In the Millionaire Raffle, there was a single $1m top prize, the one won by the Muskegon County man, as well as 100 prizes of $1,000 each.

The incredibly fortunate player was in disbelief that he had just won a second major lottery prize

The lucky 47-year-old man revealed that just above a year ago, in February 2025, he won half of $733,968 Fantasy 7 jackpot, collecting $366,984.

In just over a year, he won once again by taking down the top prize from the Millionaire Raffle game for a sweet $1m payday.

In an interview for the Michigan Lottery, the winner revealed that he liked the odds of the game and purchased several tickets.

He added that once he logged into his account and saw the notification that he had just won $1m, he was in total disbelief.

"I honestly thought it was some sort of technical error where an incorrect prize notification was sent, so I decided to check back in the morning," the fortunate player added.

Moreover, he pointed out: "I logged in the next day, and to my surprise, the $1 million prize was still pending in my account. I’m still trying to process that I’m here again claiming another huge prize!"

After claiming his newfound fortune, the winner revealed that he plans to invest his winnings.
