A single ticket matched all winning numbers from the Maryland Lottery's recent Multi-Match drawing.
The winner took down the game's jackpot for a life-changing prize of nearly $2m.
The fortunate winner, whose ticket was purchased at St. Mary’s County, took down the game's top prize on Thursday night's drawing.
The winning numbers from Multi-Match's drawing on Thursday, March 19, 2026, were 3, 14, 15, 19, 27 and 38.
Matching all winning numbers correctly, the fortunate winner took down the game's top prize for a life-changing $1.7m payday.
The top prize Multi-Match winning ticket was purchased at Abell’s Tavern at 20281 Piney Point Road in Callaway.
After selling the winning ticket, the retailer will benefit from a $1,000 bonus.
The Maryland Lottery encouraged the winner to immediately sign the back of the ticket and then keep it in a safe location.
Multi-Match players have 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.
The top prize of $1.7m can be collected entirely via annuity payments, payable in 25 equal installments.
Alternatively, if the player selects a one-time cash option, the prize would be approximately $950,000.
It is worth noting that both payment options are before the applicable taxes.
Winners can find instructions on how to claim their prizes via the Maryland Lottery's official website.
Appointments are required for claiming prizes at the Lottery's headquarters located in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd in Baltimore.
Each Multi-Match ticket costs $2.00 per play. Multi-Match drawings take place on Mondays and Thursdays.
The probability of winning the Multi-Match jackpot on a $2 ticket is 1 in 2,032,151.7.
