That’s the case for a Townsville, Queensland, Australia, local or visitor who scored a division one prize from Saturday Gold Lotto.

Popular game produces three division one winning entries

Saturday Gold Lotto drawing 4673 on Saturday, May 2, 2026, produced a total of three division one winning entries.

Draw 4673 saw winning numbers 29, 19, 18, 45, 34 and 9, along with supplementary numbers 28 and 8 drawn.

As a result, each of the division one winning entries is looking forward to a life-changing AU$2,139,901.06 ($1.53m) prize.

Besides the winning entry sold in Queensland, two other top-tier prize winning entries were sold in Victoria and South Australia.

Matt Hart, a spokesperson for The Lott, commented in a statement: "If you’re taking it easy this Labour Day, it could be the perfect time to check your Saturday Gold Lotto ticket! The lucky winner’s entry was purchased at The Avenues News at 85 Burnda Street in Kirwan.

Considering that the Saturday Gold Lotto winning entry wasn’t registered with The Lott Members Club, the lottery operator had no way to contact the division one winner and give them the good news.

Instead, The Lott is now awaiting the incredibly lucky player to reach out and start the claiming process.

"We’re encouraging anyone who purchased a Saturday Gold Lotto ticket from The Avenues News to check their tickets today," Hart added.

The lottery spokesperson acknowledged that anyone winning such a life-changing prize will undoubtedly change their future plans instantly.

Finally, Hart encouraged Townsville visitors and residents once again to check their tickets and contact The Lott to start the claiming process.
