An incredibly fortunate mum will be celebrating with her family and donating to animal charities after scoring a six-figure prize.

That's the story of a kind-hearted Hunter Region mum who won AU$200,0000 ($141,300) from The Lott's Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot game.

The Hunter Region woman's winning entry was purchased via The Lott's official website.

Considering that Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, there is no sharing of prizes.

With each game having a set number of tickets, winners take home the entire prize and that's exactly what happened to the kind-hearted mum.

"Oh my god! I’m crying! Am I dreaming?"

Contacted by an official from The Lott, the lucky woman was in disbelief when she was told about the life-changing prize.

"Have I won $10,000? Wait, is it more. Oh my god! Oh my god! I’m crying! Am I dreaming? I just pinched myself, and I felt it! I’m not dreaming," the incredibly fortunate winner exclaimed.

While the woman admitted to playing the lottery, she said that the most she has ever won was AU$80, and she never even dreamt of winning AU$200,000 ($141,300).

The winner confirmed that her family is going through a rough time, which is why this lottery prize will enable her to help them.

"The timing is absolutely perfect," the Maitland mum said, adding that she will immediately call her sister to give her the good news.

But the Hunter Region winner has an incredibly kind heart and explained that she plans to give back some of the winnings to local animal sanctuaries.

Admitting that she loves dogs, the woman said that she can buy two more dogs and donate.

Finally, the lucky lottery player said she also plans to celebrate.
