Lottery players in Illinois are just keeping striking gold, with another player managing to hit a huge payout from a fast-play game locally.
While the player has not been named, details about their win are already available, with the person winning $1,498,172 playing the FastPlay Cash Castle game.
The ticket was purchased at a physical location, specifically at Hucks at 540 Fairfield Rd. in Mount Vernon, and the venue will also get the customary bonus fee of 1% the prize amount, or in this case $14,982.
Cash Castle is one of the most popular games in the state, and it features a base jackpot of $100,000, which often exceeds seven figures.
Participation costs $30 for a single ticket, and the game has remained a popular option for locals, leading to some awesome prizes as the most recent situation indicates.
While no one has stepped forward to claim the reward, there is plenty of time to do just that, with one year for the person to step forward and scoop it up.
Whether they will choose to remain anonymous is down to them, but a customary photo-op with the outsized check is probably incoming!
This is not the first time a huge win has dropped in the state, with a person scooping a $850,000 payout just earlier in February.
