Tabcorp has teamed up with Mindway AI to leverage the data and tech company’s artificial intelligence solutions and ensure that consumers are better protected when gambling. The Australian gambling giant now seeks to tackle problem gambling by promoting and focusing on early interventions and addressingearly signs of the behavior.
Mindway AI and Casino Guru have already worked on a one-month initiative which assessed player gaming behavior of web visitors on the Casino Guru website. Now, Mindway AI is deploying its solutions as a true testament of its full-range capabilities with the leading Australian wagering giant.
Presently, Mindway AI covers more than 6.5 million active players across the globe and 20 countries for the time being. Commenting on this opportunity, Tabcorp Chief Customer Officer Jeanni Barnett welcomed the opportunity to step up the company’s efforts and ensure that consumers are protected from end-to-end. Barnett explained:
"Our collaboration with Mindway AI is a key step forward in our commitment to caring for our customers, reducing harm, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience."
Barnett has further hailed Mindway AI’s solutions as some of the best technologies there are to ensure that harmful behavior is nipped in the bud and that early symptoms of problem gambling are addressed swiftly and reliably.
Proactive measures are now pretty much how gambling issues should be addressed, with regulators around the globe leaning heavily on operators to ensure that they have a preventative approach towards early symptoms of gambling disorders.
However, even Barnett cautions that the way operators, including Tabcorp, tackle this issue should be by consistently trying to evolve and modify their capabilities. "We’ll continue to grow and modify our capability to ensure we remain an industry leader in customer care," Barnett assured.
These remarks reflect the words of Casino Guru Sustainable and Safer Gambling Lead Šimon Vincze who has been a passionate advocate and the catalyst of an initiative called Global Self-Exclusion Scheme. The success of such solutions, Vincze noted in a recent interview, relies on the willingness of operators to step up their efforts in protecting consumers.
Tabcorp Chief Analytics and Data Officer has also hailed the opportunity to work with Mindway AI. Dr Amy Shi-Nash said that the company is determined to continue working with big data and AI solutions to ensure that Tabcorp is capable of quickly and reliably spotting potential problematicbehavior and acting on it.
Shi-Nash said that Mindway AI’s capabilities along with Tabcorp’s understanding of the industry and its customers would prove that a best-in-class customer service focused on responsible gambling is possible. Mindway AI has recently teamed up with Doura- Schawohl Consulting to help introduce a better understanding of the policies needed to protect consumers.
