The leading global sports technology company, Sportradar Group AG, continues its partnership with the iconic football club, Borussia Dortmund (BVB).
This week, Sportradar confirmed it extended its integrity collaboration with BVB.
The partnership extension builds on a successful alliance between Sportradar and the second most decorated German football team.
BVB continues to examine organizations that align with its values, protect its reputation, and can be beneficial for its long-term and sustainable growth.
In this context, the alliance with Sportradar grants the football team detailed background information about potential commercial partners and sponsors.
Ultimately, through Sportradar's extensive and reliable data, BVB can analyze various details about its future partners, including ownership, licensing arrangements, business operations, and corporate structures.
At the same time, the German football team can obtain insights about regulatory compliance, criminal proceedings or legal issues that may affect its future partners and make informed decisions by decreasing potential reputational or other risks.
In a press release, Andreas Krannich, Sportradar's Executive Vice President, Integrity Services, discussed the extended integrity partnership with Borussia Dortmund.
"As the commercial landscape in sport continues to evolve, rights holders are looking beyond traditional sponsorship criteria and placing greater emphasis on long-term strategic fit," the executive explained.
Moreover, Krannich pointed out: "Borussia Dortmund recognizes the importance of building partnerships that reflect the Club’s values, resonate with its supporters and create sustainable value for all parties involved."
In conclusion, the executive said that Sportradar is excited to continue to support BVB during a time the Club is growing its commercial partnership ecosystem.
Earlier this year, Sportradar and Polymarket expanded their partnership covering more than 20 sports leagues and competitions.
