SBC Summit Lisbon wraps up with prestigious awards ceremony

Thursday marked the last day of SBC Summit Lisbon, one of this year's most anticipated events for the global gaming industry.

The event, which marked it debut in Portugal, took place at Feira Internacional de Lisboa in Lisbon.

Overall, the summit took a mind-blowing 110,000 square meters of space, delivering a unique networking opportunity for gaming industry experts.

Kicking off on September 24, the summit concluded on September 26, bringing together recognizable leaders, global gaming companies, stakeholders, entrepreneurs and guests from all around the world.

The SBC Summit included a range of exciting events such as:

• SBC Poker Championship
• SBC Leaders Summit
• Affiliate Leaders Summit
• Payment Expert Summit
• SBC Football Championship
• SBC Awards 2024

The three-day conference and exhibition welcomed more than 25,000 delegates, 600 exhibitors, more than 8,000 operators and 450 speakers.

Now that the Summit wrapped up, SBC uncovered details regarding the SBC Awards 2024 winners.

On the final day of the Summit, the prestigious ceremony took place, recognizing industry leaders, innovators and companies dedicated to improving the gaming sector.

Notably, Casino Guru was among the winners within the Affiliate categories.

The recognition Casino Guru secured was the Casino Affiliate of the Year award.

More awards within the Affiliate categories were grabbed by Better Collective and FairPlay Sports Media, who secured a Sports Affiliate of the Year and Affiliate Product Innovation awards respectively.

The recognizable solutions, content and software provider, powering iGaming and betting operators, SOFTSWISS, won the prestigious Employer of the Year award, while Betsson Group won the Sportsbook of the Year award.

What's more, the popular online casino games suppliers, Pragmatic Play, Wazdan and Pascal Gaming, also secured recognition from the SBC Awards 2024.

Pascal Gaming was named Casino / Slots Developer of the Year – Small, while Wazdan secured the Casino / Slots Developer of the Year – Medium title.

Not unexpectedly, Pragmatic Play was crowned with the Casino / Slots Developer of the Year – Large title.

On the other hand, Kaizen Gaming secured the Casino Operator of the Year recognition along with the Operator of the Year – Large title, while Campeón Gaming was crowned Operator of the Year – Medium.

Retabet was named Operator of the Year – Small, while bet365 Partners won the Best Affiliate Program award.

Building on the success of the previous editions, this year's Summit was a success. Maintaining this growth trajectory, the next edition is undoubtedly going to be even more exciting.
