Play’n GO has been on a tear, with the company ushering in new games, mechanics, and features over the past several months, and now, the world-beating supplier is securing another important milestone - entry into the upcoming regulated market in Alberta, Canada.
With Alberta readying to launch its private gambling sector, which will extend to sportsbooks and online casinos, Play’n GO has found an opportunity to strengthen its presence in North America by specifically extending its reach in the soon-to-launch provincial iGaming market.
The supplier has received its B2B license from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis Commission (AGLC), and it will be bringing its full portfolio of online casino games once Alberta finally launches, and no later than this year.
Play’n GO Chief Commercial Officer Magnus Olsson welcomed the chance to see his company once again expand its reach, adding:
"Being granted a licence in Alberta is another important step in our North American growth journey and further strengthens our presence in Canada. Regulated markets are the foundation of our business, and Alberta represents an exciting opportunity to expand our footprint in a jurisdiction that shares our commitment to high standards, player protection and long‑term sustainability."
Olsson added that the company was looking to increase its global footprint by exclusively focusing on regulated market expansions, working closely with licensing authorities, and delivering an impactful product for local operator partners, including with such blockbuster releases as Mole Digger.
The company has been looking to enhance its game-creating credentials through the delivery of unique and highly original games, and has even become more assertive in the space for bespoke titles.
The studio launched Mandalay Bay Riches, a game exclusively developed for BetMGM.
