The leading provider of gaming, financial technology and solutions, IGT, celebrated its 50th anniversary and was recognized with several prestigious awards.
The company said Wednesday it received top honors in three distinguished award programs, organized in conjunction with the recent ICE Barcelona 2026.
Those include accolades from the ICE Landmark Awards, European Casino Awards and the International Gaming Awards.
Hector Fernandez, IGT's Incoming CEO, spoke with excitement about the latest honors, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
The executive said: "These awards highlight the power of IGT's expanded portfolio and our ability to innovate across gaming, digital and financial technology."
Finally, Fernandez pointed out: "As we mark 50 years of shaping the gaming industry, the ICE Landmark Award reinforces our legacy while we continue to invest in growth, innovation and differentiated solutions for our customers and their players."
Notably, in celebration of IGT's 50th anniversary, the company was honored with an ICE Landmark Award.
The prestigious honor recognizes individuals and companies that helped shape the global gambling vertical.
At the same time, IGT won the "Slot Provider of the Year" accolades at the International Gaming Awards.
Winners at the aforementioned annual awards are selected by a panel of experts and recognized leading companies from the online and land-based gambling vertical.
Last but not least, IGT obtained another prestigious award recently.
The company's brand, Everi, was recognized with the "Best Cash Handling Product" accolade at the European Casino Awards.
The award honored Everi's leading payment technology, Premium Cash Redemption Terminal.
The announcement comes on the heels of IGT's decision to appoint Andy Hendrickson to Chief Product and Technology Officer role
