The 2024 edition of iGB L!VE has proved to be the largest to date, with the expected relocation of one of the industry's get-togethers to London to take place in 2025 from its current venue in Amsterdam.
Yet, before IGB L!VE packs up and leaves, the gathering has managed to muster its strongest showing yet, with the event rolling out the red carpet on Wednesday, July 17. To start with, international interest in iGB L!VE has undergone some notable increase, with a 40% year-on-year jump, and industry insiders from more than 121 nations taking the trip to Amsterdam.
This is further underpinned by the fact that there were more than 300 exhibitors who had more than 21,000 square meters to present their products on and set up their booths at. The floor area was 35% larger than the figures in 2023, iGB L!VE said in a press release shared with Casino Guru News.
As to more of the important details surrounding the event, the iGB L!VE Conference Program offers attendees the chance to rub shoulders with 50 speakers across 21 sessions who will impart their knowledge across various core topics that have the potential to change the industry as we know it.
Some of these topics have to do with Markets and Convergence, Building for the Future, Protecting Your Business, Player Protection, and so many more. The discussions pivot around popular and pressing matters in the industry, such as ESG, M&As, SEO best practices and challenges, cyber threats, slot game design, and so much more.
iGB L!VE also opened with an address by Michel Groothuizen, the incoming Dutch Gaming Authority Chair, who will take the position on July 1. The early hours of the event were also marked by a Keynote by LiveScore Group Sam Sadi, a sports media and betting veteran with more than 25 years of experience in these respective fields under his belt.
Plus, iGB L!VE is also hosting the ASCEND Women & Allyship Meet-up this year, a fresh initiative that is designed to support women in the industry and help them launch their gaming careers. The event also features the LaunchPad initiative, a dedicated incubator for startup companies where they get to showcase innovative tech with potentially industry-wide impact.
