iGB L!VE reveals names of LaunchPad finalists

iGB L!VE’s innovation and startup-focused contest, LaunchPad, now has five finalists, who will vie for the final award. The event, is due to take place in the Pulse Theater at 16:30 – 18:00 on July 18.

LaunchPad finalists to take the central stage on Thursday

The five companies to have reached the final stage are Match Hype, Swap Profit, AMARIX, SavageTechGmbH and Lucky Lady Games, and each one of them offers a new and exciting approach to iGaming or sports betting innovation.

The shortlisted candidates were confirmed by Clarion Gaming’s Jamie Coles, who is at the helm of the LaunchPad incubator effort. Coles welcomed the finalists and said a few words detailing what to expect.

"These businesses will not only gain invaluable exposure, but they will also compete for substantial cash prizes and receive expert guidance from our judging panel of industry titans," Coles teased. iGB L!VE’s LaunchPad judges include such established industry heavyweights as:

  • Michael Caselli, Non-Executive Chairman Clarion Events
  • David Sargeant, Investor, Advisor, Consultant - iGaming Ideas
  • Vladimir Malakchi, CEO and Managing Partner - Xanada Investments
  • Tony Pearce, CEO and co-founder - Reality+
  • Justin Anastasi, CEO, VentureMax Group

Coles paid his thanks to Becky Liggero Fontana, who is a Reporter, Producer and Host of CoinGeek and has agreed to chair the first edition of the event.

He similarly hailed LaunchPad as a format to create opportunities for companies to showcase their ground-breaking ideas and drive innovation within the industry, eliciting support from some of the most formidable and impactful people in the industry.

iGB L!VE seeks to drive the iGaming industry forth

The LaunchPad startup competition was also welcomed by Caselli, who said that the contest was highlighting the latest innovations within the industry. "That is very much the ethos and the DNA of the show," Caselli further explained.

It’s a way to drive the iGaming industry forward, he continued. Each of the five finalists will have time to present their project in a 10-minute on-stage demo, which will then be examined by the judging panel. The cash prize for first place is €6,000 followed by €3,000 and €1,200 for second and third.

Meanwhile, industry types must not miss out on iGB L!VE 2024 which is due to take place on July 16, 2024, with expo days set for July 17-18. The event will have more than 300 exhibitors and north of 10,000 delegates. Find out more about iGB L!VE here.
