IBIA has continued to grow and expand its North American presence with a string of partnerships intended at ensuring the global integrity of sports, and new stakeholders joining from the region and beyond.
The most recent partnership the International Betting Integrity Association has been able to negotiate is with betPARX, a sportsbook and gaming operator based in the United States, which presently has licenses in several of the biggest gambling markets in the country, namely New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Ohio.
Thanks to this tie-up, IBIA continues to assert itself as the world’s leading integrity monitor. The association is actively seeking to ensure that much of the global sports gambling handle goes through its partner operators and members so that any suspicion of corruption or manipulation can be addressed in a quick and decisive manner.
Commenting on this opportunity, betPARX SVP, Interactive Gaming and Sports Matthew Cullen said that the company was excited to be joining IBIA and help promote the highest integrity standards in sports betting through its work and partnership with the association. "By working with industry leaders, we aim to ensure a safe and fair betting experience for all users," Cullen added.
IBIA CEO Khalid Ali hailed the arrival of yet another prominent sports betting company, and remarked that it would further strengthen the association’s monitoring capabilities. Ali further praised betPARX’s track record in protecting the integrity of sports betting, something that would no doubt add to IBIA’s own technological expertise and clout.
"The association looks forward to working closely with betPARX and to integrating the operator within our global sports betting integrity network," Ali concluded. IBIA has had a number of successes expanding its presence in the regulated North American market and securing some of the biggest names in the sports betting industry as its partners.
The association added distinguished names from the industry such as Fanatics, Simplebet, and betJACK among others. IBIA has advocated for a global response against sports corruption by bringing relevant stakeholders together and using a network of technologically advanced sports betting companies that are able to track aberrations in gambling behavior in real-time and alert relevant sports bodies, regulators, and authorities, all in a bid to protect the integrity of sports and with it, consumer trust in the sector.
