The annual Gaming in Germany Conference is set to return once again, with the event hosts confirming the latest date of Tuesday, November 10, 2026, and the venue at the DoubleTree Hilton Ku’damm in Berlin.
The conference will play a central role in facilitating connections among lawmakers, industry stakeholders (including businesses, regulators, and consultants), and the domestic and international communities interested in the regulation of Germany’s iGaming market.
Among the key conference topics during the day will be discussions focusing on the ongoing evaluation of the 2021 State Gambling Treaty, what current and future new products may be permissible, such as sweepstakes, esports betting and prediction markets, as well as discussions around the existing gambling monopolies in Germany and Austria, along with the market re-regulation in Austria and more.
The event has already confirmed several prominent speakers who will be contributing to these topics, among which are:
A senior GGL representative will also be among the guests, bringing his relevant expertise. Gaming in Germany founder Willem van Oort has welcomed the upcoming event and the significant role it will play in local iGaming and helping chart a path forward for regulators.
"I am extremely pleased with this year's speaker lineup. We are undeniably bringing an impressive amount of expertise to the stage, including, of course, a significant amount of business and regulatory experience. Since we will be discussing, among other things, the outcome of the evaluation of the GlüStv 2021, something that is highly relevant to the entire sector, I am very glad about the amount of thought leadership that we have managed to bring together so far."
The gathering will offer significant networking opportunities to meet relevant stakeholders from the industry and help advance businesses as well as the regulatory debate as a whole. The event is also open to individuals who may wish to participate as speakers and deliver their industry-relevant insights to advance the local collective knowledge.
