FanDuel teams up with North Carolina's Carolina Panthers

North America's premier online gaming and betting company, FanDuel, continues its expansion across the United States. Earlier this week, the company revealed that it signed an important multi-year partnership with the Carolina Panthers, the famous professional American football team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The new collaboration comes before the planned launch of mobile sports betting in the state. Under the terms of the new deal, FanDuel was designated as the team's Official Sports Betting Partner.

Per the new multi-year agreement, FanDuel will collaborate with the Panthers to deliver exciting digital and social media content. Moreover, the brand will gain access and leverage team trademarks. FanDuel will also benefit from retail exposure via digital signage at the Bank of America Stadium. The company vowed that it will also bring exclusive events, catering to fans of the popular team and sport.

The launch of mobile sports betting in North Carolina will be completed in less than a week. The state will officially launch its market on March 11 and FanDuel will be among the operators that will roll out their services together with the market launch.

Customers who are 21 years old or older can now pre-register with the FanDuel Sportsbook mobile application. New customers who register through March 10 will benefit from $100 in Bonus Bets that they can use after the launch of the market. Once March 11 comes, FanDuel's customers will be able to place their first wagers. Bettors who place a minimum of $5 will also benefit from an additional $200 in Bonus Bets.

In a statement, Kristi Coleman, the Carolina Panthers' president, revealed that it is exciting to join forces with FanDuel and designate the company as an Official Sports Betting Partner. Moreover, she pointed out: "As we look ahead to the 2024 season, we're excited about the opportunities this partnership presents to deliver unique and engaging experiences to our fans while they are in North Carolina."

Mike Raffensperger, FanDuel's Chief Commercial Officer, was just as excited about the recently inked deal. "Bringing FanDuel to sports fans across North Carolina is an important moment for our business, and we are thrilled to be able to work with the Carolina Panthers to introduce their fanbase to America's #1 Sportsbook," he revealed. Finally, Raffensperger said: "We look forward to supporting the team next season and to engaging the passionate sports fans across North Carolina with our product."
