Louisiana's largest casino resort, Coushatta Casino Resort, announced the appointment of an experienced hospitality executive.
On Tuesday, the premium gaming, entertainment and dining destination confirmed it hired Britton Pruett for the key role of Director of Food and Beverage.
Joining Coushatta Casino Resort, Pruett brings significant experience in the hospitality vertical.
A certified sommelier and acclaimed hospitality executive, she will oversee the casino resort's entire restaurant, bar, banquet and beverage operations.
Pruett has a passion for culinary innovation and a guest-focused approach, making her an excellent addition to Coushatta Casino Resort's leadership team.
As Director of Food and Beverage, she will lead the evolution of the resort's restaurant concepts, play a major role in enhancing its beverage programming and help bring special event offerings.
Ultimately, Pruett's efforts are expected to deliver memorable guest experiences thanks to an ongoing focus on creativity, quality and innovation.
She will leverage her extensive skills to strategically refine Coushatta Casino Resort's wine program, and ensure selections are aligned with benchmarks set by the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.
At the same time, the new Director of Food and Beverage will help introduce new, "thoughtful pairings and expanded offerings designed to enhance the guest dining experience," as explained in a press release.
Throughout her extensive career, Pruett accumulated significant experience and knowledge.
She has held a number of senior-level roles at commercial and tribal gaming properties and helped manage multi-outlet operations and multi-million-dollar revenue portfolios.
The appointment of the new Director of Food and Beverage highlights Coushatta Casino Resort's ongoing focus on operational excellence and team development.
At the same time, the appointment highlights the venue's position as a premier gaming destination in Louisiana.
