New York City's only casino-hotel, offering world-class gaming, entertainment and hospitality, Resorts World New York City (RWNYC), continues to grow its offering with the addition of the City's first and only exclusive high-roller gaming space, the International Room.

The International Room officially opened its doors on October 22

Queens native and hip-hop icon, Nas, joined RWNYC for the opening of the new high-limit gaming destination on Thursday, October 22, 2026.

The opening of the International Room is part of a broader expansion of the premium gaming and entertainment resort in New York City.

The venue's first floor expansion features the opening of the International Room, as well as the addition of 57 more table games and an extra 147 slot machines.

This expansion grows RWNYC's total table game offering to nearly 300 and increases the number of slots to 4,000+.

"Together, these enhancements reflect the property's commitment to expanding its entertainment and hospitality experiences while attracting a new generation of luxury gaming customers," a press release by RWNYC obtained by Casino Guru News reads.

The opening of the first and only exclusive high-roller gaming destination in NYC coincided with the 15th anniversary of Resorts World NYC.

The premium gaming destination first opened its doors in 2011 and has since welcomed millions of guests every year, while offering vital support for the state's economy and surrounding communities.

The high limit area promises a premium experience

Robert DeSalvio, Genting America East's President of Development, shared his excitement, saying: "We are extremely proud of the speed with which we have built and opened this incredible space that offers a new and uplifted experience to our players."

Moreover, DeSalvio pointed out: "Giving players and visitors what they want, as soon as possible, is priority number one for the company, and we look forward to many events like today's in the near future."

Meghan Taylor, Genting America East's SVP of Government Affairs and Public Relations, was similarly excited.

She acknowledged that the opening of the International Room marks an important milestone in the development of Resorts World New York City and takes the venue closer to its vision of a world-class integrated resort at the heart of Queens.

"Until today, players who wanted this level of service had to leave the city to find it. Now we can offer the personal, high-touch hospitality guests expect in other destinations, which raises the bar for what's possible in New York City," Taylor added.

The International Room offers premium gaming experiences for high roller guests who enjoy privacy and white glove service.

The designated private gaming area uses nearly 14,000 square feet of space, has 48 table games and three private gaming salons offering blackjack, roulette and baccarat.

Equally important, visitors to the International Room can enjoy a range of foods and beverages without leaving the gaming floor.
