Brightstar Lottery PLC, the leading global supplier of lottery technology, games and solutions, powering retail and online lotteries, continues to expand its presence in the United States.
On Tuesday, the company announced a new collaboration with the Wisconsin Lottery.
The new agreement follows a competitive procurement process.
Ultimately, Brightstar Lottery emerged as the winner of a tender, bringing its world-class solutions to the Wisconsin Lottery.
As a result, the Lottery will benefit from the company's fully integrated lottery solution, OMNIA.
The innovative solution has already proven its popularity in markets across the globe, modernizing both digital and retail channels, elevating player experiences and driving growth.
Only recently, Brightstar Lottery agreed to power the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation with its leading sales automation technology.
Scott Gunn, Brightstar Lottery's Chief Operating Officer North America Lottery, spoke with excitement about the latest announcement, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
"Working in collaboration with the Wisconsin Lottery, Brightstar has developed a deep understanding of the growth-driving products and solutions the Lottery needs to fuel and support its business goals," he said.
Moreover, Gunn pointed out: "Since our partnership began in 1988, we have supported the Wisconsin Lottery in generating more than $20 billion in revenue, the majority of which has gone back to winners, retailers and Wisconsin homeowners."
In conclusion, the executive said: "We are excited to deliver our latest technology solutions, backed by our high-performing and reliable system, that will continue to responsibly propel lottery sales and entertain players."
Considering the Wisconsin Lottery's decision to pick Brightstar Lottery's technology, the latter was awarded an eight-year base contract.
However, the collaboration has the potential to continue for more than a decade, considering an additional eight-year extension and four extra one-year extension options.
This otherwise means that Brightstar Lottery can potentially power the Wisconsin Lottery in the next two decades.
Cindy Polzin, the Wisconsin Lottery's Director, was excited about the new alliance.
"The Wisconsin Lottery looks forward to working with Brightstar to help us continuously evolve our lottery solutions to maximize player engagement with this new contract," she said.
Besides the deployment of Brightstar Lottery's OMNIA solution, powering the Lottery's retail and digital channels, the Wisconsin Lottery will also benefit from retail equipment.
Notably, the operator will tap into Brightstar's Retailer Pro S2 terminal, as well as its GameFlex 48 self-service vending machine.
Strengthening its offering further, the Lottery will leverage Brightstar's handheld Retailer to Go terminal and access the company's leading self-service vending solutions, GameTouch Draw S2 and GameTouch 20.
