Boot Hill Casino and Resort, a go-to gaming and entertainment destination in Kansas, has announced it executed two agreements, extending its sports wagering offering through 2030.

Partnership extends through 2030

Confirmation about the partnership extension came from Butler National Corporation, which manages Boot Hill Casino and Resort through its subsidiary.

Back in 2022, Kansas authorized Kansas Lottery-owned and operated sports betting.

This enabled Boot Hill Casino and Resort to join forces with the Kansas Lottery for the management of sports wagering operations.

Now, under the terms of a newly approved, three-year contract extension with the Lottery, Boot Hill Casino will continue to manage sports betting activities conducted via Boot Hill Casino and Resort.

The approved agreement comes after an initial five-year deal and effectively extends Boot Hill Casino’s management of sports wagering through 2030.

In line with the extended agreement with the Kansas Lottery, Boot Hill Casino and DraftKings agreed to extend and amend their sports betting agreement for ten years, as explained in a press release obtained by Casino Guru News.

The alliance between the two companies facilitates online and mobile sports betting operations.

"The DraftKings agreement is subject to continuing Boot Hill Casino management authority under the agreement with the Kansas Lottery," Boot Hill Casino and Resort explained.

Ryan Deutsch, General Manager of Boot Hill Casino and Resort, spoke with excitement about the latest agreements.

"We appreciate the Kansas Lottery's continued confidence in Boot Hill Casino & Resort. We are also very pleased to extend our successful relationship with DraftKings," he said.

Moreover, Deutsch pointed out: "Sports wagering has become an important component of our entertainment offering and continues to attract visitors from across Kansas and neighboring states. This extension provides long-term stability for our sports wagering platform and allows us to continue investing in the guest experience and sportsbook operations."

Finally, the executive acknowledged that Boot Hill Casino and Resort remains dedicated to delivering entertaining experiences to its guests, boosting tourism and economic activities in Southwest Kansas, while also generating revenue for the state.
