A little less than a month since Jake Paul and Joey Levy announced their collaborative sports betting project, Betr, the platform is finally available for download from the Apple and Google Play Stores. The new platform launches with the promise to "TikTokify" sports betting and make it more accessible to consumers all across the United States and beyond.

Betr bills itself as a direct-to-consumer micro-betting-oriented betting platform, and it will combine micro-betting along with media elements. The company makes a bold claim to the title of the world’s "first micro-betting focused app" and is backed by Levy who founded Simplebet, and Paul, who is a media personality-turned-pugilist.

Both men’s expertise in the sports and media sectors gives Betr an uncanny advantage as a novelty on the sports betting market. Betr will focus on empowering consumers to place bets on the outcomes of "every moment" of every sport event that has been covered by the platform, and the platform is ambitious about its reach.

There will be all the main events from American sports, naturally. This includes the National Football League regular season and Super Bowl, college football and march madness, MLB games, ad more. Betr is also confident that the UI and UX it uses are optimized and buck the trend in terms of how odds are typically shown to players, making for a more intuitive experience in the process.

Levy welcomed the launch of the new app in a press statement. He welcomed the opportunity to realize this free-to-play platform which will help sports fans to better understand sports betting and learn more about the industry. Betr comes along with interactive tutorial that makes sure that no new arrivals are unprepared for what lies ahead.

"While this is very much an initial version that will get considerably Betr over time, we believe the experience released today provides a glimpse into the future of sports betting in the U.S. – an instant gratification focus to betting delivered in a simple, intuitive user experience that anyone can enjoy, even if they have not bet on sports before," Levy added.

Betr Head of Product Alex Ursa was equally pleased about the rollout of the project. Ursa insisted that the project is not so much a sportsbook as it’s something "new, different and interesting." It’s basically a step up from the run-of-the-mill commoditized legacy sportsbook product, while still offering the core product, but with important changes.

Betr is a good fit for anyone who has never wagered on sports in their life, Ursa explained, and added that the product is poised to completely change how sports fans experience wagering. On the occasion of the launch, Betr raised the stakes by saying that one user who predicts the first play of the NFL season (i.e. Run or Pass) will win a Jeep Wrangler with Betr branding.
