Octoplay, an independent Swedish iGaming studio and a true industry globe-trotter, has marked its latest high-profile partnership, enabling the company to push into a new jurisdiction.
This time around, Octoplay has teamed up with PokerStars, marking the supplier’s debut in the Spanish market. This partnership allows Octoplay to secure forward positions in what is largely seen as a key jurisdiction in the European iGaming landscape.
While this is the first time the two companies have collaborated in Spain, Octoplay and PokerStars have already worked together in other key markets, both in Europe and overseas, with successful launches in the United Kingdom and Italy, as well as Ontario, Canada.
Octoplay CEO Ralitsa Georgieva has welcomed the opportunity to see her company expand with another dominant and player-centric operator such as PokerStars, and hailed the Spanish market launch as an important step forward for the company.
"This market entry underscores our commitment to rapid growth and the strengthening of our partnerships with the industry’s leading operators," Georgieva said.
This comes at a time when Octoplay continues to rank as one of the top suppliers in key jurisdictions. The supplier has also made a further geographical push, securing fresh market entries and consolidating its presence in established jurisdictions.
Octoplay expanded in Michigan, the United States, recently. The supplier also signed a content partnership with Novibet in Greece. Notably, the studio expanded with Superbet to Brazil, allowing the supplier to secure another crucial geography designed to bolster its reach and add to its commercial momentum.
