Ann-Kathrin Baumgardt joins Future Anthem as VP of Sales and Customer Development

The pioneering artificial intelligence (AI) and data science powerhouse, Future Anthem, announced details regarding a new senior-level appointment. Earlier this week, the company revealed that it hired the ex-IGT executive, Ann-Kathrin Baumgardt. Joining Future Anthem, she was appointed to the role of VP of Sales and Customer Development for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

In her new senior-level role, Baumgardt brings extensive experience within the iGaming vertical. As VP of Sales and Customer Development EMEA, she will oversee the development and growth of the aforementioned teams. Additionally, Baumgardt will play a key role in the future expansion of Future Anthem and help the company reach its next phase of growth. The experienced executive will also closely collaborate with Matt Nichols, Further Anthem's General Manager of the Americas, for the global growth of the company.

Future Anthem's CEO, Leigh Nissim, shared his excitement about the latest hire in a statement. "Ann shares our vision and is excited to contribute to our collective success," he said. Finally, Nissim predicted: "She will be instrumental in helping us develop the opportunities within our fantastic customer base as well as expanding our business to new clients who want to personalize their player experiences in real-time, with sustainability at the heart of their player journeys."

Over the last year, Future Anthem has significantly expanded its workforce which grew by an impressive 152%. Recently, the company hired experts, including Jessica Wu and Laura Bird to the roles of Head of Marketing and Chief Financial Officer respectively.

Throughout her extensive career, Baumgardt accumulated significant knowledge within the online gambling sector. Before becoming a part of Future Anthem, she held a senior-level role with the global gaming company, IGT. While she was a part of IGT, Baumgardt held multiple strategic roles, including Director of Strategic Business Development and Director of Key Account Management, among other high-profile positions.

Sharing her excitement, Baumgardt acknowledged the potential of AI as well as machine learning tools and technologies for the iGaming and betting sector. "To be part of a company that leads in this field is an incredibly exciting opportunity," she said.
