The globally recognizable quality testing and assessment services provider, catering to the iGaming, lottery and land-based gambling industry, Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), strengthened its team with a new promotion.
Earlier this week, the company confirmed it promoted Andrea Bossard to the senior-level role of Vice President, Engineering.
Previously, she held the role of Senior Director, Engineering.
By selecting Bossard as Vice President, Engineering, the company anticipates that she will play a key role in GLI's future expansion.
In her new role, the executive will oversee the delivery of services to operators across the globe, and ensure effective collaborations with regulators.
What's more, Bossard will also focus on the delivery of GLI's services to land-based suppliers, among other responsibilities vital for the company's future growth and expansion.
Mackenzie Haugh, GLI's Chief Delivery Officer, spoke about the company's ongoing dedication to delivering world-class experiences, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
Focusing on the latest appointment, the company's Chief Delivery Officer said: "Andrea's warm and genuine approach, coupled with her vast market and technical knowledge, achieves this for both our team members and our customers."
Last but not least, Haugh said: "I am confident that her new role will bring even more success, and she will continue to inspire all of us around her."
As noted, before her promotion to the role of Vice President, Engineering, Bossard held the role of Senior Director, Engineering.
With that in mind, she isn't a new addition to the company's team, considering she initially joined GLI back in 2006.
Since then, Bossard accumulated extensive knowledge, experience and a deep understanding of important company processes.
The newly promoted executive has a background in QA testing, as well as an education in computer science and mathematics, making her a perfect fit for the company.
Recently, GLI became the first certified laboratory in Maranhão, Brazil.
The milestone achievement was reached by the company back in November, enabling it to deliver its trusted certifications to regulated companies across the state.
