Ombudsman sided with Revolut on some of my payments despite me sending over 20 paragraphs of information. 30 emails to merchants and proof that the payments haven’t gone to where they claim. Ombudsman say that chargebacks are at the bank’s discretion and not law. What a disgrace

Was that the initial investigator or the actual Ombudsman?

Anyone done chargebacks with SKNVRS or DESERLTD just looking for how it went for them.

They sided with them on all of mine currently appealing the review was a joke !

Yes, some sites act illegally or exploit legal grey zones. You're absolutely correct that we need to discuss these issues, but repeatedly yelling "illegal!" doesn't alter the practical situation. These websites operate outside the system, and that comes with risks. Many players accept those risks. Others get burned.

Just because a site is rated highly doesn’t mean we endorse every shady trick they might pull. VPN advice, shady excuses, withdrawal delays, we don’t ignore these, but the player must step in and let the complaint team investigate.

We’re not here to argue in circles or hand out blanket validation. We’re here to provide information, transparency, and help where it’s actually possible. That’s the limit of our role.

I appreciate your efforts. If all the offshore casinos you've played at ended up tricking you, I’m genuinely sorry to hear that. But if that’s the case, the best way to make an impact is by proving it through the complaint process—not just through forum discussions. This approach can actually result in a lower Safety Index. It is up to the sites if they want to take the chance of providing services to the UK against the rules if they get their fingers burned by chargebacks then im sure they must be aware it is a risk they are taking knowing they are not legally obliged to do it just in the same way we take the risk on our side or are lured in by texts and emails or letters in the post even when they know we are problem gamblers, it is shady stuff I have yet to find a normal non gamstop site to be honest anyway lets leave it at that thanks

I had one last year that they ruled in my favour instantly and then one in January that they ruled in my favour. This one was only appointed on Friday morning and on Monday claimed he had all the information from revolut to side with them. It’s crazy

Ok they have all been raised was this sknvrs or destreamltd ? if there is an objection I can dispute it but Revolut are doing it wrong

I read here someone got the deservltd refunded a few days after the chargeback was raised at the bank not sure about sknvrs though
