An incredibly fortunate grandmother from Melbourne, Australia, was in disbelief after winning a life-changing AU$1.2m ($843,700) prize.
The lucky Bentleigh player was among several fortunate souls who scored division one winning entries from TattsLotto draw 4661 on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
The winning numbers on that particular draw were 27, 20, 11, 16, 45 and 43, while supplementary numbers were 39 and 22.
Across Australia, there were a total of five division one winning entries from TattsLotto's draw 4661.
Besides the winning entry of the Bentleigh grandmother, there were two more division one entries in Victoria, as well as one each in Tasmania and Western Australia, a press release from The Lott confirms.
Each of the division one winning entries is entitled to a life-changing prize of AU$1,260,098.55 ($886,000).
The lucky Melbourne grandmother's winning entry was purchased at Ormond News and Lotto, Shop 1 at 491 North Road in Ormond.
When an official from The Lott contacted the lucky player, she was overwhelmed by the news and in disbelief.
"What! Are you joking?! One point two million dollars! Darling, you better not be joking me," the fortunate Bentleigh grandmother exclaimed.
The winner then added that this is a moment she has been dreaming of her entire life.
Interestingly, the grandmother revealed that she has been playing the lottery for decades.
"You’ve made an old lady very happy! I’m in my eighties and I’ve been playing over 50 years," the Melbourne resident said.
Realizing that the life-changing TattsLotto win is real, the lucky woman said that she wants to call her children and friends.
"I can tell my doctor too. I’ve been sick a lot lately, so she’ll be so excited for me," the TattsLotto division one winner added.
As it turns out, the woman already had plans about her newfound fortune.
She revealed that she needed to get some things done around her house and the unexpected windfall will help her do this.
Finally, she thanked the lottery official.
