On Friday, the North Carolina Education Lottery confirmed that a Nashville resident won the top prize from its popular Wheel of Bonuses game.

In North Carolina, lottery players can access 45 different digital instant games available exclusively via the Lottery's official website and the North Carolina Education Lottery Official Mobile App.

Players who tap into the Wheel of Bonuses digital instant game can play with different ticket price points starting from $0.50 to $30.

The Nashville resident played with a $30 ticket and won the game's "Epic" jackpot for a sweet $202,012 payday.

The odds of winning the top prize from a $30 play are 1 in 1 million.

Speaking to an official from the North Carolina Education Lottery, the lucky winner said: "I was trying to catch my breath. I was just stunned."

The winner admitted that after the shortness of breath, he immediately called his wife and asked her to meet him.

"I've never experienced anything like that. I was pumped," the fortunate lottery player admitted.

The Nashville resident visited the Lottery headquarters late last week.

Considering that state and federal taxes apply to lottery winnings, the winner's bank account increased by nearly $145,000.

Asked about his plans for the newfound fortune, the lottery player said he intends to pay some bills.

Wheel of Bonuses digital instant game offers a range of prizes and jackpots

Players who tap into the Lottery's Wheel of Bonuses digital instant game can win a range of prizes.

With the price per play varying between $0.50 and $30, the odds are different depending on the price point.

The overall odds of winning any prize from the digital instant game are 1 in 3.86.

After the Epic jackpot win, the top prize was reset to $50,000.
