A 39-year-old man saw a $20 lottery ticket turn into a life-changing prize, the Michigan Lottery has announced.

The fortunate winner scored the progressive jackpot from the Lottery's Super Lucky 7s Fast Cash game for a sweet $714,891 payday.

The fortunate winner started shaking after seeing the $715K jackpot

The Kent County man admitted to frequently playing the lottery.

In an interview with an official with the Michigan lottery, the lucky winner said that he usually buys scratch-off tickets.

However, the man admitted that he decided to give the $30 Jumbo Jackpot Slots Fast Cash game a try.

This game brought him a sweet $300 win. When cashing this $300 prize, the 39-year-old man decided to buy another ticket.

The fortunate man purchased the winning ticket at Exit 76 – Meadowbrooke at 4919 Town Center Court Southeast in Grand Rapids.

"When I cashed that ticket, I used $20 of my winnings to buy a Super Lucky 7s ticket," the winner said.

Moreover, the fortunate man pointed out: "I scanned the ticket on the Michigan Lottery app and started shaking when I saw I’d won $714,891. The first thing I did was walk over and give the cashier a hug!"

Asked about his plans for the unexpected windfall, the lucky man said that he intends to set aside some of the money for his children's college funds.

What's more, the 39-year-old lottery winner said he will pay some bills and then save the rest of the money.
