  • A ticket purchased in Northern Rivers won 1st Prize in Friday's Lucky Lotteries draw
  • The fortunate player won the AU$200,000 prize on Friday the 13th
  • An official from The Lott tried to contact the lucky winner but it looks like their contact details were not up to date

One lucky lottery player won a life-enhancing six-figure prize on Friday the 13th, although they might not be aware of their newfound fortune, yet.

That's the case for a Northern Rivers, Australia, player who scored the 1st Prize in Friday's Lucky Lotteries draw.

The winner couldn't be reached over the phone

The fortunate winner purchased their entry at Lismore Central Newspro, Shops T10 Lismore Central Shopping Centre, 44 Carrington Street in Lismore.

On draw 1779 from Friday, March 13, 2026, their entry hit the 1st Prize for a sweet AU$200,000 ($141,400) payday.

However, an official from The Lott couldn't reach the fortunate lottery player.

In a press release, Eliza Wregg, a spokesperson for The Lott, confirmed that she attempted to reach the winner of the latest lottery prize in the region, but it didn't look like the player's details were up to date.

"I was ready to reveal the life-enhancing news to the Northern Rivers newest major prize winner today, but sadly when I called the number provided, it just rang out and said the number was no longer in service," she explained.

Wregg added that while some players may think it is difficult to win a 1st Prize from Lucky Lotteries, those who have purchased their ticket from Lismore Central Newspro should definitely check their tickets.

"This is an important reminder to all players to keep your membership details up to date, so that if you were to win a major prize, we can contact you with the thrilling news," The Lott's spokesperson added.

Wregg said The Lott is urging all Lucky Lottery players to check their tickets as soon as possible and in case they find they won the prize, to contact the lottery to initiate the claiming process.

The raffle-style games, Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot offer a set number of tickets for each draw.

Since every ticket has a unique number and the games are raffle-style, prizes are not shared.

This means that the fortunate Northern Rivers player is entitled to the entire AU$200,000 ($141,400) lottery prize. They only need to check their ticket.
